and yes that is grogu from The Mandalorian on my pajama pants :)
A 5th year anniversary is symbolized by wood, which represents wisdom, strength, and forgiveness.
I think that's so spot on because God has given me so much wisdom as I lead and grow this ministry. Wisdom to make decisions that are good and God-glorifying. Wisdom to say yes and no when it's been needed. Wisdom to create spaces that are safe and sacred for sisterhood. Wisdom to know what to offer and when. Wisdom to serve women.
Then there's strength. God has given me the strength to keep going when entrepreneurship was so hard. Strength to build resources and create spaces out of even places that I'm weak in. Strength to take risks when the plan or result of it seemed farfetched. Strength to ask for help and make collaboration a key part of this ministry.
And forgiveness. The willingness to forgive those who didn't support me the way I expected to. The willingness to grow in forgiveness knowing I would be ministering to women that have been wounded and hurt and also need to forgive. To grow in the spiritual discipline of forgiveness as an act of spiritual maturity for where God would take me.
How it started and how it’s going…..
In the very beginning, I did not have a business plan. I didn’t have a website. I started with ZERO Instagram followers. I started with ZERO email subscribers. I didn't know what marketing was or looked like. I didn’t know where this was going but I said yes to God. And even with all that, so much has happened in the past 5 years!
I had a baby and my whole life changed through it. The pandemic happened. I kept working at a full-time job for over 4 years of leading Full Collective. I’ve been able to hire two people. And I’ve been able to collaborate with dream supporters.
In the past 5 years, I’ve been able to host 11 retreats, 8 in-person day gatherings, 8 book clubs, and 6 Bible study groups, launch an online shop, launch an online conference and now an IN PERSON one, coached over 40 women, create over 30 faith-growing resources, provide 4 courses, and so much more.
In the past 5 years, through FULL - women have come to know Jesus more, have grown spiritually, have been set free of sins they were stuck in for years, have been water baptized, have made lifelong friendships, have grown in their spiritual gifts, and have experienced true rest.
In the past 5 years, God has done a work in me and in this ministry that will never be able to actually be impactfully seen through numbers but through the fruit that has been planted and produced within every woman who has been a part of this community.
So thank you, sisters.
To the ones who have gone on a retreat - thank you for trusting me with your travel, rest, and growth. Thank you for saying YES to the unknown and being willing to share an intimate space with other women. Thank you for being contributors to the joy and transformation that happens at our retreats. Thank you for your presence, prayers, and prophetic words that have catapulted so many women to grow in their faith journey and leave behind the bondages that tried to take them out. Thank you for sharing a spirit of adventure with me.
To the ones who've been my coaching clients - thank you for trusting in my wisdom, experience, judgment, education, and knowledge. Thank you for receiving feedback and applying it with grace and grit. Thank you for being willing to be bold enough to say YES to what God has called you to. Thank you for acknowledging that you get to go and grow on purpose. Thank you for letting me be your coach.
To the ones who've been a part of the ‘Healing From the Body' community - thank you for sharing your story and hearing mine. Thank you for being willing to enter into the hard work that is healing and giving yourself grace in the process. Thank you for listening to what I have to say about these hard and traumatizing things and using them for your own healing journey. Thank you for loving the Church enough to want to correct her. Thank you for continuing to believe Jesus can heal you even if it feels like such a far destination.
To the ones who have attended an event, course, or bible study group - thank you for your willingness to show up and learn. Thank you for loving God’s Word enough to want to grow in your understanding of it. Thank you for valuing community and fighting against the enemies agenda to make you feel alone or isolated. Thank you for contributing your thoughts, prayers, insight, and encouragement to the safe spaces we’ve created. Thank you for being a part of the foundational parts of this ministry by being present in our in-person offerings.
